How will my data and documents be kept secure and confidential?
     At VRB I recommend the latest software that uses bank / military level 256 bit encryption.  I will always take the security of your data very seriously!

How can my bookkeeper be in a different part of the country?
     My practice is referred to as a virtual bookkeeping practice. Thanks to technology, I am able to serve clients across the United States.  The Internet facilitates conferencing and the secure exchange of documents.

How long do I have to commit to using your bookkeeping service?
     VRB is secured on a month-by-month basis.  I will never ask you to sign a long-term contract.

What can I do if I have questions?
     Ryan provides support to his clients through email, phone calls, and web conferences.

Do you do bookkeeping for regular long-term rental properties?
     Yes, VRB serves short-term and long-term rental business both for owners and for property managers.

Are the fees I pay for bookkeeping tax deductible?
     Yes, everything you pay to VRB is fully tax deductible as a cost of doing business.

Are you willing to work with my current CPA / tax preparer?
     Yes, VRB wants to work with your current CPA or tax preparer so that the accounting is set up in a way that allows them to complete your taxes quickly and efficiently.

Will you file my taxes for me?
     We do not file taxes, but we do provide the data that your CPA or other certified tax preparer will need to file your income taxes easily and quickly.

My books are behind.  Will you help me get caught up?
     Yes, having books that are behind, incomplete, or incorrect is actually very common.  It takes a lot of work to keep up and many business owners just have too many other responsibilities to make that happen.

Do you help rental businesses set-up their accounting system?
     Yes, if you need help setting up QuickBooks or Xero for your rental business, I'll help you get set-up, help you learn the system, and then help you transition into doing the work yourself.
